Display Issues
| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| broken images | source computer and projector resolution may be mismatched LCD panels on the projector are dirty |
| no display | outdated software (drivers, host computer OS) overheated / burned out projector bulb (replace or allow it to cool) |
| intermittent shutdown | projector settings have standby mode after inactivity period internal sensors are set to shutdown after a (bad) condition is met check the owner's manual for info. usually the indicator light will tell you what's going on |
Audio Issues
| issue | solution |
|---|---|
| no sound | volume is turned down source computer's audio isn't set to the projector outdated apps on the projector projector is using a cable that doesn't carry audio (e.g. VGA) |
| audio and video are desynced | usually caused when using HD video and external speakers. since the audio is processed faster, it comes out earlier than the high-quality video (that takes longer to process). set an audio delay that mostly resyncs the audio with the video on the source computer |
