Mount Point

A directory used to add space to a storage device that is at it's maximum capacity, partitioned under the volume that is also occupied by the storage device. Only available in Microsoft-Windows.

Mount Points can only be used if the new partition is using the NTFS file system, and the folder where the mount point is pointing to is empty.
