Coaxial Cables

An EMI resistant, sturdy cable type used to transmit radio signals, digital audio, TV cabling, phone lines, and more.

It's made up of an inner cable conductor, a cable insulator, a braided mesh conductor, and a plastic jacket/sheath.

Twinaxial Cables

A type of coaxial cables that have TWO inner conductors. They're used in datacenter interconnects working at 10/40 Gigabit Ethernet speeds, limited to a cable distance of 5 meters (passive) and 10 meters (active). Twinaxial cables are terminated using Direct Attach Copper (DAC) transceivers.
