Yarrgh!

media piracy is illegal, always comply with your local copyright laws

ok so basically we have jellyfin, plex, sonarr, radarr, prowlarr, and a VPN of your choice.

Jellyfin

Jellyfin acts as a personal media server that can store Movies, TV shows, and Music (but nobody uses that feature). It reads from select folders in a specific format to provide content, along with subtitles, trailers, and other metadata.

Plex

Plex combines the function of Jellyfin with other popular media streaming services. It combines your Jellyfin with things like Hulu, Amazon Prime, Netflix, etc. to have a seamless place to watch your shows. I don't use Plex, since I'm broke and don't subscribe to those things.

Sonarr

Automatic downloads of shows.

Radarr

Automatic downloads of movies.

Prowlarr

Manages indexers for torrenting. Connects to the other "arr" apps to sync indexers.

VPN

Sometimes ISPs don't like the fact that you're torrenting. And maybe they might throttle your internet speed if they can detect it. Use a VPN to get around this. Also, use a VPN in general (PROTON FREE FTWWWWWW). Just to be safe. In the case you want to wrap the *arr apps in a VPN for protected, private torrenting, consider Gluetun.

Qbittorrent
